Baby, It's Cold Outside ...

... after all, it's January! I got a few things done this weekend. Very few, it seems. Sigh. Well, I am close to ordering my 12"x12" 2012 book and I got started with 2013. A light bulb came on today for me. I will upload the pages to my annual book every month or couple of months rather than doing it all at once. It will be a lot easier, I think. I use Lifephoto out of Milwaukee and the books are super high quality.

So, here is the first (intro) page ...

and the first double-page spread, which covers the first half of January ...

I do like this digital Project Life format. Keeps things a little simpler, in a way. And really it's what I did before, just a different look to it with the clean template style and journaling "cards." I did buy several (three) Becky Higgins Project Life mini albums which will come soon from Amazon.com. I just want to putz with an idea I have for a Prayer Journal and also I might use two of them for ABC books for the boys. We'll see. I wanted to make a few cards this weekend, too, but haven't yet. Time to make salmon for dinner since we were out and about last evening and didn't eat in. You'll have to read all about it in the next installment. Having said that, you probably can't read the journaling. More sighs. There aren't enough hours in a day to figure all this stuff out. It would be nice to know how to create a fancier blog look, too. Another day.

It's a Wrap - 2012

So, here are my Scrap Last Month pages for October ...

And two for November ...

And 4-1/2 double page layouts for December. Too much fun!

Wednesday, January 2, 2013

Welcome, 2013!

So, the first half of 2012 was completed in a timely manner. The second half, not so much. Yet, I used Black Friday to catch up through October, and then November and December came together just fine. In fact, here it is January 2 and I have completed 2012. Hurray for me! (So much to do, so little time. This is a priority for me, as you can see.)

So without further ado, let's get these layouts posted. Two double page spreads for July ...

And two for August ...

Four double page spreads for September ...

Whew. October, November and December will follow soon, perhaps tomorrow night. Time for sleep!
